GONG BATHS

Gong baths are a type of sound therapy, there is no water involved, but you are bathed in the vibrations of the gongs being hit rhythmically. Gong baths have been used for meditation for thousands of years and have been found to help with stress, negative emotions, anger, anxiety, depression, help with dealing with pain, and have also been shown to benefit people with learning disabilities. Regular gong baths can help bring relaxation, improved memory, heightened awareness and concentration, improved sleep and a stronger immune system.

  • Know how to be 'present' and in the 'here and now'

  • Reconnect with your body, to nurture and care for yourself

  • Breathe well for your body and mind

REIKI

Pronounced “ray-key”, this is a very relaxing and calming fully clothed treatment. It works on your general energy levels and by encouraging your mind to enter a deep state of relaxation so your body can work to support your immune system. Reiki works to pinpoint the areas of stress or unbalance and your practitioner is able to determine by a light touch where your energies are displaying a lower level so that once you finish your sessions you feel recharged and able to focus on your day better.

It is recommended that you have 3 sessions to fully experience the benefits. Each session will last around 30 mins.

WHEN: By appointment only, please enquire at the centre.
